AerialGuard® Dead-End Insulator
APPLICATIONS
Dead-end insulators are designed for use on tree wire or spacer cable systems rated 15 kV, 25 kV or 35 kV. Polymer dead-end insulators are used to electrically isolate the phase conductors from ground when attaching the cables to a dead-end bracket or crossarm. The shackle clevis allows attachment of the dead-end insulators to a dead-end bracket orconductor dead-end grips.
CONSTRUCTION
Dead-end insulators are comprised of a composite epoxy resin core with a gray silicone rubber sheath and watersheds. End fittings clevis/tongue and socket/ball terminals are finished with hot dip galvanized.
