AerialGuard® Angle Bracket
APPLICATIONS
Angle brackets are designed to support the covered conductors used in the AerialGuard® spacer cable system when the circuit makes a turn. They are affixed on the utility pole to maintain the spacer cable system configuration when creating line angles from 6 degrees to 90 degrees. The brackets accommodate the full range of AerialGuard® polymer insulators.
CONSTRUCTION
Carbon steel SAE 1010 to 1020 laminated. Hot-dip galvanized (ASTM A-153). The material used follows the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) standards, which are widely applied in the automotive, aerospace, and mobility industries.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Cost-effective alternative to crossarm transitions.
- Pre-drilled holes for insulators and standard 8” pre-drilled pole attachment.
- Pole mounting is achieved using either 5/8” or ¾” through bolts or double arming bolts (not included).
- Accepts Insulator plate when required on larger conductors or 61 to 90degree angles.
- Predrilled ground lug mounting hole.
- AerialGuard® brackets are interchangeable with other manufacturer's spacer cable systems.
