AerialGuard® Tangent Bracket

APPLICATIONS
The tangent bracket is used in the AerialGuard® spacer cable system and is used on tangent poles to support the messenger and the spacer on the pole. It is used on poles with straight circuits and small angles up to 6degrees. The bracket is supplied with the messenger clamp to secure the messenger and the stirrup to connect the spacer below.

CONSTRUCTION
Ductile cast iron and is hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM A153

• Pole mounting is accomplished using either 3/4" or 5/8" thru-bolts (not included).
• Designed to allow roll by installation equipment to pass by the bracket during stringing.
• Pre-drilled hole to accept short shank insulator pin for mounting insulators.
• Tangent brackets can be installed "back-to-back" for double circuit applications.
• Bracket include the messenger clamp that accommodates messengers from5/16" to 3/4".
• AerialGuard® brackets are interchangeable with other manufacturer's spacer cable systems.
